2015
The birth of an idea at CRAN (UMR 7039)

The first research efforts behind Telendo began in 2015 at the CRAN laboratory, a joint research unit (UMR) of the University of Lorraine and the CNRS. Funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR-15-CE17-0015), the research team explored the potential of mosaicking-based reconstruction of internal organs from raw video sequences.
2020 -2024
Technological maturation

Between 2020 and 2024, the project received successive support from CNRS Innovation and SATT Sayens, including maturation funding and technical assistance.
A functional prototype was developed, tested in a clinical environment, and validated by several gastroenterologists, particularly within AP-HP. This phase demonstrated both the technical feasibility and the medical relevance of the endoscopic digital twin.
2025
Founding of Telendo

In 2025, Telendo was officially founded by Carsten Müller, Clément Fauvel, Christian Daul, and Dominique Lamarque. The startup then embarked on a trajectory of industrialization and regulatory structuring.
That same year, Telendo was selected by EIT Health to receive strategic support as part of its European program dedicated to deep-tech innovations with high clinical impact.
